There they go to the customer's house. Bye-bye! It's been a true pleasure!

All 4 done and rolling out. NEXT!!!

Whew. My poor wrists!!! There's no easy way to pull all these decorative nails. One nail at a time. It's like shucking oysters; you've gotta get in a tiny opening and then twist and pry all at the same time. If you miss then you'll bust your knuckles. Worked til 7 last night to try to stay on top of all this work. I'll have them covered by lunchtime.

Got this pair done and waiting to be picked up.

Originally they had double welt but customer asked if we could change it to a single welt. Yep! I had to form a channel for the new welt to snuggle down into. I'm happy.

Here. That's better.

"The cobbler's kids need new shoes."

I love that expression and if you've ever seen my own furniture, you know it holds true to me and my trade as well. But today something different is going to happen. I'm actually going to fix this mess.

This is going to sound crazy to some people, but that one ottoman has 43 separate pieces of fabric! And if any of them are off just a little bit then the whole thing is wrong.

43 pieces all sewn together one seam at a time. I'm ready for a nap.

Another happy customer!!!!

I have told 3 people that I will help them learn to reupholster furniture. I will. I just haven't yet.
If you want to learn, give me a shout and a little push in that direction.
It'd help me if you have a specific piece you want to recover and l will walk you through the process.
Will, Rachel, and Sherry (I forgot) holler if you see this !

This is the last recliner I'm going to recover.
