Pretty fabrics are part of the job.

So are site meetings, measurements, elevations, electrical decisions, millwork details, installation schedules, vendor calls, & catching the tiny things before they become big things.

For us, luxury isn’t just what the finished home looks like.

It’s knowing someone is paying attention.

It’s been a little while since we’ve introduced ourselves, so we thought it was time to reintroduce the women behind Rae Cole Interiors.

With over 25 years of combined experience in luxury interiors, we each bring a distinct technical background, perspective, and approach to the table. That balance has become one of our greatest strengths.

Together, we’re able to see the bigger picture, thoughtfully navigate the details, and confidently guide our clients through every step of the design process, all while keeping their vision at the heart of every decision.

We believe the most compelling interiors are a reflection of the people who live in them. We love creating spaces that feel layered, collected, and deeply personal, where individuality takes center stage and every detail feels intentional to the person and story behind the home.

If you’re ready to create a home that feels uniquely yours, we’d love to hear from you. Our inquiry process can be found through the link in our bio.

At , we’re leaning into a palette of deep chocolate, rich walnut, warm taupe, to***co, muted bronze, and soft blue-green to create a kitchen eat-in that feels both sophisticated & intimate.

We chose a mix of old-world elements and tailored contemporary upholstery to keep the eat-in from feeling either too traditional (her style) or too modern (his style).

The result? A space that feels beautifully balanced, layered, and uniquely theirs.

We’ve always had a thing for the details.

The unexpected trim. The little architectural moment. The finish that makes you pause. The detail you might not notice at first, but somehow makes the whole space feel like it.

And honestly? We can’t help ourselves.

That’s just how we see. That’s how our minds work. We’re constantly noticing, imagining, layering, and dreaming up the little things that make a space feel special.

Simple design has its place. It’s just not really our thing.

We believe the details are where the personality lives and we’ll always make room for a little more of it.

Our clients find so much joy in the natural landscapes of Colorado and New Mexico, so we wanted their home to carry some of that same feeling. Natural plaster brought the organic texture and movement we were looking for, while completely transforming this fireplace.

It’s a material we come back to again and again… not only because it’s organic, but because of the depth and imperfection it brings to a space. And anything that gives us a little Colorado/New Mexico energy, we’re naturally drawn to.
