Yesterday was my marriage anniversary and is such an important piece of history for Kit’s Craft Korner. My husband and I had chosen a micro wedding, and I had no idea what I wanted to do with my bouquet other than keep it. So, I practiced with resin while the flowers were in a cheap flower press, waiting impatiently for them to dry. I made some messes and eventually felt ready to do my flowers, and I loved it immediately. I kept working with resin as I loved seeing the finished creations and started selling pieces. I vended at craft fairs and farmers markets to sell my pieces and offer my flower preservation services.

Now, 3 years later, I’ve focused on what I do best, and that’s flower preservation.

Flower preservation isn’t just about bridal bouquets. It’s about preserving the moments tied to them — sympathy flowers from a loved one, birthday blooms, first Valentine’s flowers, anniversary arrangements, baby shower florals, funeral flowers, “just because” bouquets, and the little moments that deserved to last longer than a week in a vase.

Every flower tells a story, and those memories deserve to be kept forever.
