Some people are afraid of ghosts. We're afraid of wasted storage space. 👻

And after years of designing closets, garages, and custom storage solutions, we've seen some pretty frightening things.

Swipe through a few of the things that keep us up at night. 🎃

Happy almost Halloween from your friends at More Space Place! 🧡

Plot twist: there's a bed in there! 💙

At first glance, it's a beautiful wall of custom cabinetry. Open shelving for books, photos, and favorite things, with closed storage to keep the rest tucked away.

But there's more to this one than meets the eye!

Hidden behind those doors is a Murphy bed, ready to turn this space into a comfortable guest room whenever it's needed.

And when the guests head home? Back to being a beautiful, functional space for everyday living.

Also, can we talk about that BLUE?! 😍

It's that magical time of year when your garage is storing three seasons at once. 😆

Summer gear that hasn't quite made it back to where it came from, fall sports equipment that is still being used daily, and holiday decorations that are not-so-patiently waiting for their turn. Somehow, it all needs to fit in the same space.

That's where a little thoughtful organization comes in. Tall cabinets for the things you don't need every day, drawers for the smaller stuff, and a workbench that doesn't have to double as a dumping ground.

A garage that can keep up with the changing seasons? Yes, please!

And if there's still room to park the car? Even better. 😉

It's officially the time of year when boots come out of hiding! 👢

And if finding your favorite pair involves digging through the back of your closet, moving three pairs of shoes, and wondering where the OTHER boot went... We might have some ideas. 😉

Dedicated shoe shelving, adjustable storage, and a little thoughtful planning can make switching between seasons a whole lot easier.

Now, the important question: Are you a boots-all-fall person, or are you still holding onto sandal season? 🍂 ☀️

Some spaces practically tell you what they want to be. 👏

This recessed nook was the perfect sport for a Murphy bed. Instead of leaving an awkward space to fill, the bed fits right into the architecture of the room, with a little extra shelving tucked alongside it.

Closed up, the room stays wide open and usable. When it's needed, there's a queen-size sleeping space hiding right there in the wall.

Sometimes custom isn't about adding more. It's about making really good use of what's already there. 🤍

Apple season is officially here in Upstate SC. 🍎

And around here, a "quick trip to the orchard" has a way of ending with a whole lot more apples than you planned for.

A little pantry reset can make room for all the good stuff that comes with fall: baking staples, crockpot season, after-school snacks, busy sports nights and, of course, the apple haul.

We're pretty lucky to live right in the middle of apple country, so we shared a few of our favorite local orchards, too!

Where are you getting apples this fall? Tell us your favorite spot below! 👇

A little real-life content for your Monday. 🎃

The floating witch hats are up. The board games are crammed onto the shelves. And whatever is happening with the Eggo boxes is apparently a very important project my kids are working on, so naturally it lives in the entryway now. 🤪

Meanwhile, the Smoke Green cabinetry is doing exactly what it was designed to do: look good while holding all the stuff that comes with actually living in a house.

No professional styling. No perfectly staged shelves. Just a very real entryway, a little Halloween magic, and custom storage earning its keep. 🧙‍♀️

Guest season is coming! 🍂

And this is your reminder that a guest room doesn't have to be JUST a guest room.

Our Madison Bookcase Murphy Bed keeps the bed tucked completely out of sight behind functional shelving, giving you a space you can enjoy every day and a comfortable place for overnight guests when you need it.

The holidays will be here before we know it. Who's already expecting houseguests this year? 🏡

Sometimes, it's all in the details. ✨

A few finish + hardware combinations we're loving lately. From soft and subtle to warm and bold.

Which pairing would you choose? 👇

1. Cashmere + Polished Chrome
2. Honey Carini Walnut + Matte Black
3. Cobalt Grey + Satin Nickel
4. Beige Textile + Ch*****ne Bronze

Proof you don't need a whole room to have a really solid home office. 👏

A little unused wall space + the right storage = a workspace that feels like it was always meant to be there.

Custom is all about making your space work harder. Without making it feel crowded. 🤍
