Architect Hugh Newell Jacobsen designed this home in 1991, and our clients are only its second owners. It was an honor to work on such an iconic property. We drew inspiration from his distinctive windows to create custom pieces and layered a mix of textures that echo the surrounding landscape.
Over the course of his career, Jacobsen designed for Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and led an addition to the U.S. Capitol inn D.C. This Nantucket residence is a stunning example of his legacy, and our goal was to emphasize restraint and a deep respect for this architecturally significant home.
There is so much intention behind this design, and we are thrilled to see the full story shared in the current issue of . We can’t wait to take you inside! 🤍
