Untangled Yarn & Fiber

09/26/2026

Four years ago, following God’s lead, we opened a little yarn shop. He brought thousands of people our way, and we hope each has left with a smile, a good memory, and a small taste of God’s love to go along with either a new hobby or supplies to continue a beloved one.

Now we feel like God’s leading us in a different direction, so, as we wave goodbye to another summer season, instead of changing to off-season hours, we will be following God’s lead and permanently closing the shop & website. September 25, 2026 was our final day.

We want to say a warm good-bye and big thank you to all who’ve put their yarn trust in us over the years. If you’re a local, we’ll see you around town and look forward to hearing about your yarn adventures. If you’re a tourist, it was wonderful to meet you! If you're a fellow Christian, we'll see you here, there, or in the air!

And, to all, thank you for the memories!

O God, you are my God;
I earnestly search for you.
My soul thirsts for you;
my whole body longs for you
in this dry and weary land
where there is no water.
-Psalm 63:1

It’s so hard sometimes to slog through a world weighed down and eaten up by sin. We long for something better, something beautiful and perfect and inviting. For home.

If you know Christ, you know home. And you know you’ll someday see him face to face in that perfect world.

If you don’t know Christ, you’re filling that void with a fake emptiness that will one day consume you instead of welcoming you home.

Take his hand. He made you. He loves you. He died for you. But “he must wait for you to come to him so he can show you his love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God.” Isaiah 30:18
