This kitchen was designed with both function and connection in mind. By placing the island seating on the end, we preserved the nearby window views and kept the space feeling open and inviting. The combination of painted and stained cabinetry adds warmth, character, and a comfortable, lived-in feel, while the playful semi-flush mount light fixture brings just the right amount of personality to the room. Sometimes the smallest design details make the biggest impact. In this charming bathroom remodel, our client helped choose the placement of the darker hexagon tile, creating a custom focal point that feels both playful and intentional. By using just a small amount of the darker tile, we were able to highlight the MCM inspiration while keeping the space light, balanced and timeless. A room like this tells a story. What was once an underused dining room is now a moody whisky bar and library designed for slow evenings, good conversation, and collecting the things our clients love most.

Custom dark cabinetry, warm wood shelving, layered lighting, and a floor-to-ceiling book collection create a space that feels both elevated and deeply personal. One of my favorite parts of design is helping clients reimagine how their home can truly work for the way they live.

This was such a cool product to see at the Gessi Showroom at Milan Design Week. Coffee meets couture in this innovative Gessi kitchen system. More than a faucet, this multifunctional fixture integrates filtered water with a built-in espresso feature, bringing elevated convenience and sleek European design together in one sculptural statement piece. Sometimes the original plan changes — and that’s part of the design process. We had originally planned to remove the soffit and extend the new custom cabinetry to the ceiling. During demolition, however, we discovered mechanicals, wiring, and plumbing hidden above, making soffit removal impractical.

Instead, we adjusted the design to work with the soffit rather than against it. Incorporating a glass-front cabinet helps soften the transition and draws the eye away from the soffit, creating a lighter, more balanced feel. In the end, the space came together beautifully, and the clients were thrilled with the outcome.
