At Simpson, the kitchen bar blends everyday ease with detailed craft. ☕ From cold brew on draft to custom millwork with mesh-inlay cabinetry, and a honed Calacatta Giotto Lux countertop with integrated side splashes.

Just beyond, the dining room shifts the tone. Custom millwork forms soft archways that connect the kitchen to the great room, finished in Brinjal #222, adding contrast and depth as you move through the home.

One of our favorite parts of designing second homes is thinking about how differently people want to live in them.

Project Spring Lake was designed around ease — indoor/outdoor living, relaxed gathering spaces, and materials that feel light, warm, and comfortable year-round. Wide plank oak floors, layered textures, and beachy-modern furnishings, helped transform the home into an easy weekend retreat designed for hosting family and friends.

We keep coming back to blue — not as a single color, but as a thread.

In these projects, it shows up in different forms: deep blue millwork that carries from kitchen to mudroom, a stone countertop with soft blue veining that quietly ties it together, and a foyer wrapped in a muted patterned wallpaper that sets the tone the moment you walk in.

Nothing matches exactly, but everything relates. That’s what makes it feel intentional — layered, cohesive, and lived in.

Project Simpson was designed around connection — creating enough space for family to gather while still allowing each room to hold its own identity.

Rather than one oversized open plan, we focused on separation through detail: patterned floors, framed openings, textured rugs, warm wood tones, and architectural moments that make the home feel evolved over time.
