August 24th I will start the new shop hours: Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday, Friday and Saturday 7am - 4pm Closed Thursday & Sunday. These will be my new hours of operation.

Today there will be a celebration of life held for a man who brought many of his dreams to life through his Upholstery talents. Charlie Blake was that Upholsterer. Although my interactions with him personally were limited to only twice! Let me personally say it was a memorable experience. I personally watched as he installed a convertible top on a 72 Oldsmobile Cutlass Supreme in our shop in 3 hrs. WOW!! I vividly remember my uncle Ira, the owner of my grandfather’s upholstery shop ( Ira’s top shop ) employing Charlie, and always talking so highly of his many talents. He dominated the street rod world with so many of his own ideas and designs. His memory will continue to live far beyond his time here on earth. That is the Upholstery legacy.
