Did you know....
Twisted Monkey was previously Crimson Candle Supplies. I've heard a lot of you didn't realize that and thought Crimson was just completely gone. All the fragrances and products are the same.

The name change came because after walking away and not looking back and being closed for a year, I let some things slip.... My domain name was lost to a Chinese company. My email was thick with spam. Things that were in Russell's name were a headache to get switched over to mine and it was just all too much. So to simplify, I just changed the whole thing to something brand new. It's been far less problematic than trying to remain the same. Because honestly without Russell by my side nothing is ever going to make Crimson the same again. Starting new just makes sense to me. I was back and forth over and over about what to do and whether to open back up and so many of you pushed me to do it. To take the good with the bad and just own it. I have been doing just that. I changed my mind a million times in between. Being caught up in my grief for so long, I just couldn't do anything right. The grief is still here but its starting to feel different. I'm learning to live with it and how to move forward.

I don't have the huge crew I used to have because I am starting from the floor up again. I don't have all of my products back in stock but have most of all my top sellers back. It's just me and a couple of people who help out right now but it's ok because I don't do the volume I used to so it's easy for me to manage. As the volume starts to pick back up again, I will hire more people just like we did before. Crimson started out just me and Russell and one guy in the back, then went to 11 employees within the first year.

Here's what I want you to know. I'm committed. I'm here. I'm working every day to keep it open. My mind is made up. Will I succeed? Not if nobody knows I'm here. Not if the orders don't start picking up and the word gets out. I keep thinking "people are gonna figure it out" yet every day someone else says I had no idea you were back. But here I am 3 months in and needing your support or I am not gonna be able to keep it up much longer. I already have 3 months of rent and utilities that I have had to pay by selling off my personal property. I can't keep doing that. This is my last month here if you don't help me get the word out. If you have something you need to order, today is the day. My rent and bills are all due again. I am ok with not making profit in the beginning. I am ok with just paying the bills at the shop and enough to keep restocking. I have enough coming in from another source to pay my bills at home. So just know I am doing this for you all and for Russell. I absolutely hope you help me keep it going by giving me your support. I'd love your feedback. Make candles or freshies?

As many of you are aware Crimson Candle Supplies closed due to the death of my husband. I just couldn’t do what needed to be done on a day to day basis by myself to keep it going.

Here I am a year and a half later picking up the pieces to get it started again. Only this time, I’ve revamped and downsized what we didn’t need and moved my home and my business to Kilgore to be closer to my family. I’ve since learned a lot of you are still looking for me or my products and are unaware I’m back open full time. I don’t have set walk-in hours yet until all the moving is finalized so I’m open to the public by appointment. There are molds listed that you've never seen. We didn't get a chance to release them before my life and this business were forever changed by the loss of my husband, and co-owner Russell.

I am still unpacking and as I bring items out, they are inventoried and put on the site. Not everything is listed just yet. All of our scented beads are listed and some of the fragrances. I'm working on adding things every hour. Every time you refresh, you're likely to see something new.

If you don't see an item you need, you can text the number below and if it's in stock, I'll add it. If it's not, I'll get it on the list. What you see on the site is in stock. Should it become unavailable, the site will reflect that and not let you add it to the cart. Our inventory is in real time. If your favorite is missing, it could be available and I just haven't gotten to it yet. Don't hesitate to ask for it!

Our current turnaround time is same to next day (Excluding weekends and holidays). Should that change, the website will be updated with the current turnaround time.

My MAIN GOAL is fast shipping, communication and quality products just like before. I know when tragedy struck us, I let those things go by the wayside. I'm here to pick myself up, dust off and start over fresh and make it up to every single one of you. I can't apologize enough for walking out. I needed time to put myself back together and heal as much as possible. I'm here, and I'm working hard to bring it all back together. I'm at 50%. You are the other 50%. In case you haven't kept up with updates, we have re-branded. For no reason other than it's just easier to start over new than to try to have everything changed over to my name solely. There's no secret behind it and everything we offer is a previous version of Crimson (with a little new added).

I'm planning on revising our fragrance list to keep up with current trends and we are going to take a more natural approach. We had already started doing that when we closed. I have lots of items that came in that you have never seen because they never got added to our website.

I'm excited to get back to it but also anxious because I'm doing it without Russell who was so good at being the face of Crimson. I'm anxious because I have to get up and running quickly to make it happen. The first time around, It wasn't our sole income so it could start out slow. This time around, I don't have that luxury. We either make it happen or I will have to go another direction and take a job instead.

I don't really like putting my "business" out there like that but I am being honest and I hope you can appreciate that. I've always in the past kept my personal business private and it's going back that way after this post. I'll be all business after today. I'm just taking a moment to be truthful and vulnerable. The next 2 weeks are crucial in jump starting and the next 30 days are crucial in our survival. If you're not ready to place your orders, share my posts. Let everyone know I'm back.
