n the carpet business for 2/3 of her life, working alongside her late husband, Jim Marcus, a Carpet Hall of Fame honoree. She has over four decades of experience, knowledge, competence & skill in the carpet industry. Working to establish NEWH (Network of Executive Women in Hospitality) chapters across the country, Helen has also brought her vitality and enthusiasm to the growth and development of the hospitality industry. Jan worked for many years as a hospitality designer, creating designs for handmade area rugs for her many projects. She is now a principal in Zenith Rugs, LLC, and oversees design and new product development. Jan and Helen both share in the same high standard of personal commitment to the customer and sense of quality that inspires every carpet they create. Through our network of 19 nationally located independent sales representatives we work closely with the design community, understanding and translating their unique visions into fine custom rugs. Our primary manufacturing facility is located in Southern China. At this modern, state of the art facility we can produce 100,000 sq feet of hand tufted carpet per month, we employ 100 skilled workers and do not use any child labor. Our products pass every fire code and toxicity code. We are currently pursuing certification by NSF for sustainable carpet and we are committed to making a green certified, environmentally conscience products, that will help our projects become LEED certified (Leadership in Energy & Environmental Design). We are known for our exceptional customer service, responsiveness, and very short lead time of 6 weeks from conceptual design to completion.
