Hibachi Noodles 🍜🔥🥢
Ingredients:
12 oz (340g) spaghetti or lo mein noodles
2 tablespoons (30ml) butter
1 tablespoon (15ml) sesame oil
2 tablespoons (30ml) soy sauce
1 tablespoon (15ml) oyster sauce
1 tablespoon (15ml) hoisin sauce
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 teaspoon (5ml) fresh ginger, grated
1 tablespoon (15ml) brown sugar
1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) black pepper
2 green onions, sliced
Optional: 1/2 teaspoon (2.5ml) red pepper flakes
Directions:
1. Cook the noodles according to package instructions until tender. Drain and set aside.
2. In a small bowl, whisk together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, and brown sugar until well combined.
3. Heat butter and sesame oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
4. Add minced garlic and grated ginger, sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
5. Add the cooked noodles to the skillet and toss to coat in the butter and aromatics.
6. Pour the prepared sauce over the noodles and toss well to evenly coat.
7. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently, until the noodles are heated through and slightly caramelized.
8. Season with black pepper and red pepper flakes if using.
9. Garnish with sliced green onions and serve hot. Enjoy!
