We are proud to share that the Maia Collection has been shortlisted for the 2026 darc awards in the Decorative Lighting category.

Defined by handcrafted cracked-glass spheres and a warm atmospheric glow, Maia balances sculptural form with refined illumination. Inspired by the celestial Pleiades star cluster, the collection transforms light into texture and presence within a space.

We invite architects, designers, and lighting professionals to participate in the voting process and support Maia.

Shana Nys Dambrot is an art critic, curator, and author based in Downtown LA. She is the writer and co-founder of 13ThingsLAโ€”a weekly Substack of curated exhibition reviews and art event recommendations in Los Angeles. Formerly the Arts Editor at the L.A. Weekly, her work appears in the Village Voice, Flaunt, WhiteHot, Alta Journal, Music Connection, Palm Springs Life, and other culture publications. She studied Art History at Vassar College, curates and juries exhibitions, writes prolifically for catalogs and monographic publications, and speaks at galleries, schools, and cultural institutions nationally. She is the recipient of the Rabkin Art Writers Prize and the LA Press Club Critic of the Year award, and the Writer in Residence at DTLA kunsthalle Art/Space 114. Her oneiric novella Zen Psychosis (Griffith Moon) was published in 2020.

STUNNING SOPHIA! Create the custom Luxe Light & Home lighting installation of your dreams!
We produced this stunning 12 foot overall height custom SOPHIA installation with 3 (1x30โ€ and 2x24โ€) diameter pendants creating a mid-century inspired feature. Each starburst of cristale venetian glass teardrops refract and reflect like prisms of sunlight, adding glamour and sparkle to any room. Weโ€™re serious about the sparkle - each pendant shimmers with 163 handblown glass teardrops!
