Inspired by traditional folk art and the beautiful, winding florals of rosemaling, this art piece, Gathered Wild, is a playful celebration of the wildflowers that might have dotted the prairie generations ago. Painted in creamy white against a rich, earthy green, it feels a little bit old-world and a little bit untamed—like something gathered up, passed down, pressed and cherished and brought in a home on the frontier. There’s new art at Lindsay Letters! 🤠 It’s a fun little collection called “Fall on the Frontier,” and it’s my soft start to fall. I wasn’t ready for pumpkin spice and fall leaves *quite* yet (it’s coming!), but I am definitely feeling ready for a change of scenery and pace. This collection invites the warmth I love but introduces fall colors in an unexpected way. This collection isn’t an invitation to redecorate your whole home like a ranch out of Yellowstone, but I do hope you can find a fun piece or two to add a fun little something to your home as the nights get cooler and the sun hangs lower. This new painting is called “wide open spaces” and while the art makes me think of driving to Arizona, this song makes me think of being in our friend Carter’s red Camaro convertible, driving around without a care in the word and signing at the top of our lungs! I’m still soaking up Summer over here (there’s a whole month left, after all!) and this is one of my favorite pieces I painted for the Lakehouse Collection. Rolling green hills, scattered wildflowers, and peaceful water views come together in “Waterside Wildflowers.” This landscape captures the quiet beauty of nature with soft painterly texture and calming coastal tones. I love the juxtaposition of the teeny tiny wildflowers — mustard seed, marsh marigolds, and asters – next to the expansive ocean. It makes me think of driving along a long, coastal highway with one hand out the window, sailing along on the breeze. (In fact, this painting was actually inspired by a photo taken by Laura Kackley during a beautiful drive!) A serene statement piece inspired by slow days and open skies and confetti fields. It looks beautiful in this stunning stairwell (that belongs to Misty!) but it would be a sweet addition to any space. 🌼

I have to know. Is this just me? What happened? Out of nowhere. I could probably say please don’t swear. But I mean… I don’t know why this caught me so off guard. I literally thought there was something on my screen. Like, did you just say “a**hole?” Was it wrong? 😂 Happy Monday!
