🚨 The Growth Continues: SESCO Expands Footprint to Virginia with Acquisition of Thomas Harris & Co. 🚨
We are so pleased to announce that SESCO and Thomas Harris & Co. will be joining together as one company to continue servicing customers throughout the Commonwealth of Virginia. This acquisition expands SESCO's reach into the Mid-Atlantic region and advances the company's long-term strategy of broadening not only our geographic reach, but also scaling quality customer support capabilities, reinforcing key partnerships, and enhancing technical expertise. These highly selective growth opportunities come together with the right partner and the right culture, building off of an already strong foundation in the market.
Effective January 1, 2027, the companies expect a seamless transition that preserves the customer-focused culture and local market expertise that have contributed to Thomas Harris & Co.'s success over the last 68+ years. “[They have] built an outstanding reputation for customer service and strong manufacturer partnerships throughout Virginia," said John Palk, President and CEO of SESCO Lighting. "We have tremendous respect for the long history and legacy of Thomas Harris & Co., and we are excited to welcome their entire team into the SESCO family. Together, we will be even better positioned to support our customers, manufacturers, and distributor partners, while creating new opportunities for growth throughout the region."
"SESCO shares our commitment to relationships, service excellence, and long-term growth. We believe this is an excellent fit for our team and the customers we serve,” said Steve Clarke, CEO of Thomas Harris & Co.
Welcome to SESCO, Virginia! 🎉
