My Dear, Sweet, Loyal, and Loving Friends and Clients,
This is, without a doubt, one of the hardest posts I have ever had to write.
Since opening the doors to Spring Bouquet in 1979, I have been blessed with the opportunity to meet and serve so many wonderful people. What started as a little business in our home in Magnetic Springs grew into something far more meaningful than I could have ever imagined.
Over the years, I have had the privilege of creating wedding flowers for second and even third generations of families. I’ve made corsages for little girls heading off to daddy-daughter dances, only to have those same girls return for prom flowers and eventually their own wedding day. Those are the kinds of memories that have made this journey so incredibly special.
I still remember those early days in our home in Magnetic Springs, when I would write out orders with crayons because my kids ran off with all my pens! Then, in 1995, you followed me to our Kaiser Road location. Through every move, every season, and every chapter, you continued to show up.
YOU built this business. YOU believed in this crazy girl who simply loved what she did. Your loyalty, kindness, friendship, and support have meant more to me than words could ever express.
You stood by me through the years, even returning after the challenges of COVID in 2020 and my cancer diagnosis in 2024. As we all know, life sometimes throws us curveballs that just can’t be caught. After much thought and with a very heavy heart, I have made the difficult decision to close Spring Bouquet effective December 31, 2026.
I want you to know that I am doing well, and my cancer is stable. This decision comes with a mixture of sadness, gratitude, and reflection as I look back on a lifetime of memories and friendships.
Spring Bouquet has never been just a flower shop to me. It has been a part of my home, my family, and my heart for nearly 48 years. So many of you have become more than clients. You have become friends, and some have truly become family.
Thank you for trusting me with your weddings, celebrations, special occasions, and sometimes even your hardest goodbyes. Thank you for allowing me to be a small part of so many of life’s most meaningful moments.
I may be closing the shop, but I will carry the memories, friendships, and love with me forever.
