What does your jobsite say about you when you aren’t there? Although we’re back working at this project again today, we left the site clean, neat and tidy at the end of the day.

Site protection installed, floors broom swept and vacuumed, all materials stacked neatly and ready to go on day two.

Taking pride in your work starts long before the finished product is installed.

Believe it or not there are still guys out here doing this type of work in 2026! There’s absolutely no excuse for it! If you aren’t going to waterproof your shower properly, you are doing your client or future homeowner a complete disservice. When we put this shower back together it’ll be 100% waterproof and guaranteed for life.

Shoddy workmanship and improper methods of installation have no business on any project. Installing fiberglass as a shower pan and then tiling on top of it is not an acceptable method of installation. Fortunately, when we put this master bathroom back the Dynamic way it’ll be built to last.

Without proper waterproofing you will eventually wind up with rotted framing, rusted fasteners and moisture issues that can lead to other problems. This is only one example of why we only use the Schluter shower system on all of our products to ensure a lifetime of durability.

THE DIFFERENCE IS IN THE DETAILS.

Making progress on this custom bathroom renovation in Medford.

A geometric tile pattern like this leaves very little room for error. The layout needs to be carefully planned before a single tile is set. Every cut and grout joint matters.

From the custom cabinetry and stonework to the herringbone floors and shower details, there’s a lot of thought and craftsmanship behind what you’re seeing.

Beautiful materials are one thing. Knowing how to install them properly is another.

🚨🚨NOT our work ! 🚨🚨

We pulled this bathroom exhaust duct out during a recent renovation in a higher end neighborhood. We found a paper cup being used as part of the connection.

This is the kind of poor workmanship that is completely unacceptable. Not only because it’s ugly, but because it was hidden by the original builder. If they blatantly cut corners here, where else did they cut them?

Our standard is a properly installed, insulated exhaust duct, connected and vented to the exterior. No makeshift connections. No shortcuts.

We spend plenty of time showing off our high quality tile work, cabinetry and beautiful finishes. But it’s important to discuss details that eventually get covered and hidden by insulation, sheetrock and beautiful finishes.

If someone is willing to do this where nobody can see it, what else did they cut corners on?

One step closer to the finish line on this Medford bathroom renovation.

Final plumbing fixtures are installed, and shower glass is up next.

One detail worth talking about is freestanding tub layout and location.

Whether you’re adding one to an existing bathroom or replacing a traditional built in garden tub, the drain location is something that needs to be figured out long before the plumber shows up.

Where the tub looks best in the room and where the drain needs to land don’t always line up with the existing floor framing.

Just because something looks like it should work on paper doesn’t mean it’s going to work in the field.

That’s why we work through these details during preconstruction. Tub specifications, drain locations, floor framing, plumbing requirements are verified before rough in.

The last thing we want is to be cutting into finished work or making compromises because something wasn’t thought through ahead of time.

Good planning isn’t the most exciting part of a renovation, but it’s one of the biggest differences between a project that runs smoothly and one that’s constantly putting out fires.
