Our first Art Around the World class was held today. The kids "traveled" to ancient Greece and did Sgraffito on to Amphora pots (shown below is on of the students art pieces). They also learned how to make their own scratch art paper! They saw where Greece was on the map, learned that there were 6,000 islands that is part of the country. They also learned about the yo yo, a Bishop who inspired the Santa story, and even sampled some Greek food!
Where will we travel to next week?
