Stranded Yarn and Coffee Shop

10/13/2026

Our cables and Lace class starts Wednesday, the 14th, and it has lots of space still! Are you ready to learn skills beyond knit and purl? This is the class for you!

Come visit us on the Circle in Midland at 3114 Jefferson Ave. in the Circle Plaza! Yarn and coffee, what could be better?!

What?! More new yarn?! A gorgeous bamboo blend sock yarn (named Guilin), and a few new colors of Soft Donegal - a minimally processed Irish yarn. If you are looking for a good hardy wool in lovely, bright colors, this is it! It isnt merino, but it isn't scratchy at all - in fact, you can feel the lanolin still in it! ❤️❤️

And now Lisa has brought us more sweaters to block & hang in the shop for a bit - they'reboth knit with Wool & the Gang's Alpaca Stardust. Which button is best - top or bottom? She is taking votes!

...when the shop owners and their bestie decide they need matching socks...

Shop update - so much new yarn! I think I got everything with only a few mistakes...and can we all pretend I wasn't dropping things as I began the video? 🤣

Catching up on Ravenwood KAL clues last night and today - I absolutely did NOT let a re-watch of Firefly distract me last night and cause me to tear back an entire section 🤦‍♀️🤷‍♀️🤣 How are all my fellow KALers doing?! Should wd have an unofficial meetup this week?

10/01/2026

Day 1 of the Ravenwood KAL has Carolynn all excited! Peep her colors & the bowl left of kit makings if you want to join in! 😍🍁🧶

Also check out our restock of SnarkTotes, DellaQ, some fun stickers and a little bit of the new yarn that has arrived in the last couple weeks!

Watch out for our pics/video later of the Plymouth Yarn Company, Felted Sky Studio, and Cascade Yarns that all showed up TODAY! ...we probably shouldn't talk about the big MeriSeta yarn order that is shipping from Cascade today...anyone have any pattern recommendations for that?! Its definitely fall & time to get stitching! 😍😍
