Room to RELAX… the holiday weekend brings family and friends together in the casual spaces we’ve created for entertainment and relaxation. I believe these spaces should receive as much attention to detail as every other part of your home. Which is your favorite and why?

Throwing it back to the rooms I’ve had the honor to decorate in the Cashiers Designer Showhouse which kicks off this weekend… This showhouse featured in Atlanta Homes & Lifestyles is always such a celebration of southeastern design and has brought friendships with many colleagues who I enjoy knowing and the opportunity to invest in a community we love. Congratulations to all who are participating this year; I am celebrating your talents on display.

Thinking about this project today because it is an honor when clients’ children reach out and want me to create in their home the same as I was able to do for their parents. Twice recently but I’m not going to think about how old that makes me.

Years ago I wrote a very successful blog post (remember those?) about Ralph Lauren style. This project was the perfect opportunity to showcase that look bc the clients had or wanted all the components and they just needed help bringing it all together. Leather, Brass, antique rugs, blue and white, brown furniture… the antique case clock was just icing on the cake.
(Did you hear that Nashville is getting an RL store?)

Retreat - bedrooms that envelope and bring calm. Swathed in yards of fabric and saturated with this beautiful green, this is a favorite outcome with an en-suite bath that is to die for. What is your favorite detail??
