Day six of the Daily OE Home Ritual.

Sit somewhere comfortable in your home. Close your eyes for one minute. Let your attention move slowly through your body, finding where you feel ease, fluidity, openness. Let your awareness rest there. The body already knows what it’s looking for. Let it show you.

A soft wool-blend throw to wrap around yourself, the kind of weight that invites you deeper into ease. Tagged above.

Day five of the Daily OE Home Ritual.

Choose one beautiful object and place it somewhere in your home where you’ll see it often — a shelf, a windowsill, a bedside table. Position it with care. Step back. Feel how a single, acknowledged beauty changes the feeling of an entire room. This is what it means to illuminate your surroundings.

A vintage European clay vessel, the kind of single beautiful object this practice is built around. Tagged above.

We often ask people when they come into the store: How do you want to feel in your home?

Not what color you want the walls. Not what style you like. Not what is trending.

How do you want to feel?

Warm. Relaxed. Alive. Held. Inspired. At home.

Lately I’ve been thinking about what “coming home” really means. Not just returning to a place, but returning to yourself. Resting inside yourself. Living from your own interior world.

The Eros Sutras describe this as “connected solitude”—being deeply rooted in your inner world while remaining connected to the world around you.

As women, our interior worlds are filled with jewels: intuition, desire, beauty, wisdom, feeling. Yet so often we forget. We look outside ourselves for what has always been within.

A home can become a powerful reminder.

When you surround yourself with things that genuinely feel good to your senses, your body, your heart, your home begins to reflect your essence. It becomes less about decoration and more about relationship. Less about aesthetic and more about feeling.

This is what Organic Erotic has always been creating space for.

Not a look.

A feeling.

Beauty. Softness. Breath. Earth. Space for your energy to flow. A place where you can remember yourself.

Because the greatest service we can offer the world is not becoming someone else. It is coming home to who we are.

Day four of the Daily OE Home Ritual.

Light a stick of incense and let the smoke rise. Move slowly through one room of your home, letting your eyes settle on each thing — each surface, each corner, each object that has gathered there. Offer each one a simple, internal yes. Genuine welcome. See what shifts in the room, and in you, with approval.

A scroll of Tibetan incense to carry the practice. The ritual of lighting it is itself an act of welcome. Tagged above.

There is a particular warmth to something made by hand.

These ceramics come to us from Michele Godwin, thrown and carved and glazed by her own hands. Press your thumb to the speckled clay and you can feel where she pressed hers. A spiral drawn into a curve. Soft botanical lines around a rim. The beautiful little unevenness that only a human hand leaves behind.

We built Organic Erotic to be an oasis for the senses, and these belong here. A mug warm in your palms with the morning's first coffee. A vase holding a single stem by the window. A bowl by the bed for your rings and earrings at the end of the day.

Each piece is one of a kind, so the collection is small. Come hold them in person, or send us a message and we will set one aside for you.

By the hands of Michele Godwin. Beauty you can hold, here now at Organic Erotic.

While it might not be in the cards for you to live in a converted monastery (though who knows), in any space we live in, we can make it feel sacred and awe-inspiring.

It starts with *emptying*. Not just decluttering. Emptying is somatic. You sit with a room and let your body lead. You notice what your breath does in the corners. What has lived there so long the eye stopped catching it. You remove what you’ve outgrown and then you stay with the space you’ve made. You let the room hold more breath. You notice you do the same.

Then comes circulating. What you release moves on. You pass your pieces to someone else whose home is beginning. Beauty keeps moving. Energy keeps flowing. The act of letting go is what creates room for what’s next.

And then you shop based on the senses. Not based on what looks good in a photo.
Based on what feels good in your body.

Real materials. Slow and deliberate making. Things that are nourishing to touch, to smell, to live alongside. You keep only what makes you exhale.

This is the OE process. And it’s available to all of us.

Day three of the Daily OE Home Ritual.

Find something in your home that is worn, imperfect, or usually overlooked — a scuffed table leg, a faded corner, a surface that shows its years. Sit with it. Run your hand across it. Let yourself find it beautiful — not in spite of the wear, but because of what it holds. This is the texture of a life actually lived.

A piece of furniture you rest against, sit on, and return to most — notice it today. Tagged above.

✨✨✨Day two of the Daily OE Home Ritual.

“Eros teaches us to align ourselves to the flow of life” - The Eros Sutras Vol 1 by Nicole Daedone.

Today: sit down in the room you usually pass through.

Let it be exactly as it is, nothing to fix. Then light a candle and stay a little longer than usual. Notice what you feel in the room. Is it telling you anything?

What you’ll need: The Slow North Frosted Candle, hand-poured soy with a clean burn, is the one we reached for. Tagged above.

Save this for tonight, and follow along for a new ritual each day.

Some rooms are made to be felt.

A bath drawn at dusk. Candlelight against stone.

At Organic Erotic, we believe beauty is not decoration. Beauty is participation. It is the relationship between your inner world and the spaces that hold it.

A home becomes a sanctuary when it reflects who you are today - not who you were five years ago, not who you think you should be, but the living, changing person you are now.

The ritual might be as simple as lighting a candle, sinking into warm water, and allowing yourself to feel the contours of life again.

The Eros is often quiet. It arrives as comfort. As presence. As the feeling of being able to fully exhale.

Some part of you has always wanted to live like this.

Not the house, exactly — the way of it. Stone worn smooth by hands. Light that arrives slowly. Rooms that hold you instead of display you.
Raw. Carved. Dim. Warm. Ancient. Alive…

We are starved for the sense of TOUCH — and not just skin. Touch with our food, our walls, our mornings, our joy, our sadness. The desire underneath every other desire: to be in intimate contact with all of it. Every room of your life.

Depth isn’t somewhere you visit. It’s how close you’re willing to get.

What would your life feel like if you let everything in your life touch you?

🕯 Wander the whole house — save the room you’d never leave.
