The rotunda at Antiques at the Gardens • Birmingham was a central hub during the show, and looked extraordinary throughout, with the most beautiful array of antiques and flowers.

These photos by annieschlechter

This was our first order of Èglomisè - I’ve had the idea for this design in mind for many years - I love Chinese reverse painted glass mirrors.

My collected photos of so many of these mirrors from books and auctions over the years were finally used to create this extraordinary wallpaper. The room was stunning from floor to ceiling, with the most beautiful flowers always on display. This dramatic arrangement by Matt Clinton Designs

We even created a special design for the ceiling, with trellis on silver leaf and hummingbirds, butterflies and dragonflies.

The stage was set - this was where all of the talks took place this week Antiques at the Gardens • Birmingham and it could not have been prettier.

Bunny Williams gave the loveliest compliment to all who were involved in making this area beautiful this morning when she said “I would be happy if this was my own living room“

Our handpainted landscape mural made its debut here, and we don’t even have a name for it yet! Please give me your thoughts for a great title for it in your comments.

It is a soft sepia design inspired by a tiny charcoal drawing I saw at auction years ago – I expanded on the scene with views I love - staircases, statues, fountains and hilltop villages I’ve taken photographs of in Italy.

Thank you so much annieschlechter for these gorgeous photos, and for the Antiques at the Gardens 2026 Chairs. You were all a dream to work with, and I’m happy to know you all:

So many fabulous vendors and volunteers came together to make this 20th anniversary very special.

Please check the photo for all tags. Forgive me if I forgot anyone. Beautiful design, and splendid events like this truly take a village to create! A special thank you to Gracie’s very own Elizabeth Barnes Jones who made sure each and every design detail was perfect 💕 - you are the best!

Thank you, Birmingham, and the Gardens, for making us feel so welcome.

It’s finally here! The day so many have been looking forward to and working hard to prepare for - the opening of Birmingham Antiques at the Garden - it’s our first visit to Birmingham, and we’re in love 🥰

This is a gorgeous location, and the event benefits so many. Thank you so much to everyone who asked us to be part of it.

We look forward to the gala this evening, and honoring Show Ambassador Richard Keith Langham Inc. along with Margot Shaw and Bart McCorquodale McCorquodale Transfer

It has been a pleasure to work with (and now be friends with) the 2026 Chairs:

Jennifer Ard
Penney Parker Hartline - thank you 💕

Everyone has volunteered an extraordinary amount of time, and there is so much talent here! The show not only benefits the Gardens, but proceeds will help to plant and harvest lots of fresh produce, fund discovery field trips for children, and much more.

See you at the show!

Approved 🫶🏼

This handpainted, exquisitely
detailed version of Pauline de Rothschild’s antique Chinese wallpaper is our “Pauline” design – now available to custom order for any room.

We have added this as a addition to our framed panel designs - look forward to a new shipment, arriving in fall.

The color variation and patina is intentional, to look like a restored 18th century wallpaper, but if you prefer things, fresh, we will be happy to create whatever you envision for your custom order
