Who doesn’t love an opening night party? And, the gala for Holiday House Design Show was all that and more. A wonderfully exuberant well-dressed crowd, great music and plenty of tasty bites.

But most impressive were the creative tablescapes for the reimagined The Summer Table showhouse. Truly, I’m not easily impressed—and these are something to see.

The house is open in Bridgehampton through August 30. If you’re out East, be sure to stop by and see it for yourself.

I designed the entrance hall to make a bold, minimalist statement with snow-white walls and floors of glemaning white glass tile. The vintage table and Gilbert Poillerat stool were found in France, the framed work is by Gustave Courbet, and the Lucite bench is from the 80's.
