The Sag Harbor waterfront project, room by room. Against the home’s clean architectural backdrop, we layered sculptural furnishings, collectible design, contemporary art, and moments of color, all while keeping the views of the bay at the forefront. An Apparatus Studio chandelier, custom Tai Ping rugs, and iconic pieces by and bring personality and character to the interiors, creating a constant dialogue between what’s happening inside and the waterfront beyond.

Designed for a young family in Manhattan's historic West Village, this residence balances timeless sophistication with everyday comfort. Natural stone, bronze, and hand-troweled plaster establish a restrained architectural foundation, while silk rugs, carefully selected antiques sourced throughout Paris, and bespoke furnishings introduce layers of history and craftsmanship. Reflecting the family's cosmopolitan lifestyle and love of entertaining, every space balances quiet elegance with moments of personality.

Bohemian Aristocrat. That was the brief we invented for this apartment, and the leopard set the tone. It’s a photograph by Caroline Gibello, a nod to my clients’ South African roots, and everything in the room plays off of it - the deep linen sectional, the brass drum coffee table, and throw pillows in colorful handwoven textiles that soften the edges.

Beyond what lighting does to illuminate a space, I love the opportunity it gives me to introduce
something sculptural, whether it’s metal, alabaster, glass, or an unexpected material. The best
fixtures hold their own as objects even when they aren’t turned on.

A trip down memory lane to when we designed a room for Sotheby’s.
Working with masterworks by Andy Warhol, Pablo Picasso, Christo, Harry Bertoia, Joan Miró, and Ed Ruscha was such a special experience. Each piece was thoughtfully placed to create a dialogue between the art, the architecture, and the interior, reminding us just how much a space can influence the way we experience art.
