We are thrilled to be nominated for the Set Design category at the Fashion Awards ✨

We collaborated on this editorial shoot for Vogue China last year with an incredible team of creatives. We are grateful to be recognized among many inspiring artists.

Having come from a background in the fashion industry, this nomination feels especially meaningful, a moment where my past and present careers collide ✨

Thank you for this beautiful feature and for the stunning photography

We’re so grateful to have partnered with an incredible group of Iranian women to bring this meaningful Persian New Year celebration to life at . Thank you .ykitchen for trusting us with the Haftseen design. It was an honor to be part of such a special collaboration.

Nowruz, meaning “new day” in Persian, marks the arrival of spring and the Persian New Year. At its center is the Haft-Seen, a spread of seven symbolic elements beginning with the letter “S”, where heritage, symbolism, and beauty come together to celebrate renewal.

This year’s design explores the balance within this centuries-old tradition: honoring the past while allowing it to feel contemporary and expressive, balancing abundance with restraint, and symbolism with aesthetics. I wanted this year’s Haftseen to feel both rooted in tradition and alive in the present moment.

Growing up in Iran, gathering and hosting have always been central to our culture. That perspective continues to shape my work, creating spaces where people come together, and where florals bring warmth, intention, and connection.

Collaborating with other Iranian women made this project especially meaningful at a time when community feels more important than ever. Nowruz remains a unifying celebration and a reminder that renewal is constant, and hope endures.

Happy Nowruz!! 🌱🌷☀️

Nowruz meaning “new day” in Persian, is far more than just the first day of spring and the start of a new year. It is an ancient celebration of life, rebirth, and the triumph of light over darkness.

A central part of the celebration is the “Haft-Seen” table spread, where seven items, each starting with the Persian letter ‘س’ (S), symbolize our wishes for the year ahead:

“Sabzeh” (سبزه) – Sprouted wheat or lentils, representing rebirth & renewal
“Seeb” (سیب) – Apple, symbolizing beauty & health
“Serkeh” (سرکه) – Vinegar, signifying patience & wisdom
“Seer” (سیر) – Garlic, for protection & strength
“Senjed” (سنجد) – Dried oleaster fruit, symbolizing love & wisdom
“Sonbol” (سنبل) – Hyacinth, celebrating the arrival of spring & the fragrance of new beginnings
“Sekkeh” (سکه) - Coins, symbolizing prosperity and good fortune

Also included are eggs, symbolizing fertility and new life, a mirror for self-reflection and clarity and candles for light and energy.

We were honored to collaborate with other Iranian women for this Nowruz event at this year.

Happy New Year!! ✨🥂🌸

It’s hard not to feel the pressure around social media year-end recaps, and how easily they can start to feel performative or turn into a quiet game of comparison that makes you question whether you did enough.

Yes! We still did one, but we took our time with it, creating a recap that felt intentional and introspective.

We looked back through photos from the past year that reminded us of all the incredible projects we were trusted with, the collaborations and partnerships that pushed us to grow, and the opportunity to work alongside truly talented creatives.

It also brought us back to some harder moments and jobs where things didn’t go as planned. But those challenges pushed us forward and helped us grow stronger as a business, and reminded me how much I’ve personally grown along the way.

Most of all, we were reminded of how lucky we are to be surrounded by such a supportive floral community of mentors, peers, and freelancers. This work wouldn’t be possible without that support system.

Taking the time to reflect helped ground us, reminding us that we’re exactly where we need to be, even when it doesn’t always feel that way, moving forward at our own pace and building something meaningful.

Here’s to setting intentions, staying curious and inspired, and getting excited for what’s ahead.

Cheers and we can’t wait for what 2026 holds!! 🥂✨🌸
