911 HELP: we are painting this bathroom tomorrow I need a Sherwin-Williams paint color that would be complementary to the wood tones, the black granite sink, top, and the cream colored toilet. I understand this bathroom is a complete gut job but right now we’re just trying to get a color on the walls. The rest of our walls on this floor are Sherwin-Williams kestrel white.

This frustrates the hell out of me!! Seems to be happening more and more. I go to roll a section and the old paint comes off with the roller.
Before anyone mentions the lack of prep – It’s a grotty nicotine-stained kitchen. I’ve cleaned everything and I’m applying a stainblock before filling etc.

Help! Does this carpet look OK? I really wanted something fun. This is my living room; I asked AI to put the carpet in my living room! I've had lighter colors before in the living room, and with kids, the carpets get dirty too easily, although I clean them, so I wanted something darker. I'm wondering if I can find something like an emerald green to go with the greens in my decor. If that would look better. I love vibrant colors and crazy patterns. If anyone has any ideas or rugs in mind and where to find them, please let me know! Please be kind; I do value your opinion!

How do I make my living room look more interesting and intentional? I feel like it's so boring and blah! I love my couch and my cowhide rug, but I don't know what to do with the accent chairs/curtains. What should I get rid of and/or keep? What about curtain colors? Wallpaper?

A decorator working in one of our properties has just sent me this picture and asked for more money. Apparently the existing paint has poor adhesion and is peeling away from the plaster, which means a lot more prep than anyone expected.

It's one of those unforeseen issues they can't really quote for until they start. Awkward one.
