A contemporary bathroom by where mosaic becomes the defining architectural element. In this private residence, the Paola blend combines randomly arranged glass tesserae to create a surface full of subtle variations, where light reveals new nuances from every angle.

A week of discovery.

During London Design Festival, Bisazza Flagship Store opened its doors to conversations, workshops and encounters exploring the changing relationship between mosaic, design and contemporary living.

Together with Kate Watson-Smyth Kate Watson-Smyth , Alessandro Bisazza and a community of designers, journalists, architects and professionals, the showroom became a place to experience, exchange and engage with design in new ways.
From dialogue to hands-on making, from new collections to new ideas, every moment contributed to a week centred on one shared belief: that design is not only about the spaces we create, but also about the way we live in them.

The Modernity of Mosaic: a conversation between Alessandro Bisazza, Chairman of Bisazza, and Kate Watson-Smyth .

During London Design Festival, Bisazza’s London showroom welcomed professionals for an intimate conversation with Alessandro Bisazza and Kate Watson-Smyth, exploring the story of Bisazza through a personal journey between past, present and future. From childhood memories of visiting the company with his school class, to growing up within a family business and imagining what the future might hold for the next generation, Alessandro shared stories and reflections on the people, values and vision that have shaped Bisazza over the years.

A conversation about heritage, family and looking ahead and about how a company rooted in its past continues to imagine its future.

For Joali Being Maldives, Bisazza Design Studio developed a fully bespoke interior project for several spaces in the resort, including the bathrooms of some villas, the Juice Bar and the indoor swimming pool.
Every mosaic surface was conceived in dialogue with Autoban's architecture and the surrounding natural environment.
Inspired by the water greens and light blues of the beach, the interiors combine mosaic and natural materials, creating spaces that blur the boundaries between design and nature.

Art, design and hospitality come together at L'Albereta Relais & Châteaux, where the Ortensia motif becomes the protagonist of the swimming pool.
The enigmatic face of Lina Cavalieri, Piero Fornasetti's timeless muse, emerges gently from the water, framed by cascading hydrangea petals composed of glass mosaic tesserae in 25 delicate shades of pink and blue.
Created in a bespoke 20×20 mm format for this project, the décor is complemented by L'Elba, the green blend that creates a seamless dialogue between the pool and the surrounding garden.

Mosaic has always been a language of vision and transformation.

For the 2025 Milan Design Week, this vision took shape through the collaboration with , pioneers of pixel art. Their distinctive visual universe was reinterpreted through thousands of handcrafted glass mosaic tesserae, giving life to MechaRex, a monumental 3.30-metre dinosaur in the Milan flagship store.
Blending digital imagery with artisanal craftsmanship, the installation celebrates the shared essence of mosaic and pixel art: creative languages built element by element, where imagination becomes the bridge between tradition and innovation.
