Nordic Knots is founded on the Scandinavian tradition where functional design meets simplistic beauty. We think it should be simple to pick a rug because it’s the foundation to a beautiful room. That’s why we focus on a few timeless patterns all inspired by old Nordic design. Less choices, better quality, better design at a better price. INSPIRED BY THE SHADES OF STOCKHOLM

Our love for the vibrant facades of the 19th century classic Stockholm architecture inspired our design. The pale- and deep blues, the pinks, the yellows and the burnt reds are all colors that carry through the entire collection along with the simplicity of the patterns. That makes choosing rugs for multiple rooms easy. No matter the size, pattern or color, they’re designed to look great together. It’s that simple.

Nordic Knots at Crosta Smith Gallery.

There is no shortage of beautiful things at Crosta Smith. The London gallery brings together an exquisite collection of French design from the 1920s and ’30s, with works by Jean-Michel Frank, Émile-Jacques Ruhlmann and other masters of the period.

Here, our Grace collection was curated alongside their pieces, finding common ground between Swedish Grace and French Art Deco. Read more at link in bio.

Grace after dark—Nordic Knots and Neptune Papers gathered at Bio Skandia, Gunnar Asplund’s 1923 Stockholm cinema, for an evening celebrating Swedish Grace. For the occasion, we hosted a panel on the design movement and Neptune Papers created a limited edition fanzine showcasing the collection.

The curtain rises on Grace. 
The year is 1923. Gunnar Asplund has just completed Bio Skandia: a fantastical Stockholm cinema of midnight ceilings, glowing silk globes and architecture within architecture. 
A century later, we return with Dancing Flower and Matches — two new designs inspired by the same tension that defined Swedish Grace: classicism and modernity, ornament and restraint.
