A recent project I’ve been especially excited to share.
I had the chance to collaborate with Jenny Reber Events & Designs on this American Southwest–inspired wedding editorial at Mustard Seed Gardens, with a subtle undertone of 1970s Ralph Lauren woven into the styling.
Jenny has such a strong and adventurous point of view, and working with her felt a little like speaking the same design language. She brings a wonderfully clear vision while still leaving room for me to interpret it creatively, which makes projects like this especially fun.
For the tablescape, I created six custom gathered shades. Jenny’s original inspiration included a beautiful brown trim, but with the black chairs at Mustard Seed Gardens and the black lamp bases we selected, we wanted both colors to feel intentional within the larger design.
We ultimately landed on a double trim at the bottom of each shade, bringing black and brown together in one small detail.
This project was also a lovely glimpse into where Hill Haus is heading as I continue expanding into custom lighting for weddings, celebrations, and events. More to come.
