There's a practical reason we make our traditional innerspring mattresses with two sleeping surfaces.
Inside each one, layers of cotton cushion both sides of the tempered steel spring unit. That means the mattress can be flipped as well as rotated, helping distribute wear over time rather than concentrating it on one surface.
It's a construction method that requires more materials and careful workmanship, but one we believe is worthwhile.
We recommend rotating your mattress head-to-foot during the first year, flipping it during the second, and continuing to alternate annually.
A little routine care can help you enjoy your mattress for years to come.
