Today starts a countdown to the Downingtown Vintage Holiday Open House. In just 4 days the shop will be transformed into a wonderland of Christmas and holiday treasures. As I work on hand crafted pieces and “revisited” items the anticipation of the event will build. New items will find their way to my VR space almost daily to join the unique furniture and inventory already in place. You can see a quick glimpse of yesterday’s delivery, along with some of the sweet furniture soon to be refilled.

Holiday spirit is rumbling at Downingyown Vintage and by the time of our Holiday Open House next weekend my VR room will be transformed as well. In the meantime there’s Fall decor available and unique VR furniture pieces to help you be home-refreshed or holiday ready. A few price drops may give some added shopping incentive 😊.

There’s still one day left for the ‘leaf coupon’ sale! Like leaves in the Fall, the coupons will go away. 😊 There are still plenty of items left to choose.
There upside to the sale’s end is the anticipation of vintage inspired Christmas and holiday items that will arrive at DV in the coming weeks. A sweet vintage turkey platter arrived in my room tonight, a reminder that Thanksgiving is important as well. In the meantime enjoy the beauty of these Fall days.

A good bit of ‘picking’ in the beautiful state of Tennessee this week yielded so much inspiration and treasured finds. The week to come will bring another refreshing of my DV space. “20% off” leaf coupons are good through the weekend so stop by and take advantage of the savings on that piece in the VR room that you love.

A bit of refreshing and a sweet cabinet addition to my space in Downingtown Vintage made for time well spent on this chilly Saturday evening. Don’t worry if you need a Downingtown Vintage fix but you can’t get to the shop by 5:00. We have extended shopping hours until 8:00 pm 😊. Our Boo-basket exchange will be going on along with some vendor sales and shopping for lots of unique and vintage inspired items. Need a new piece of furniture? We’ve got that too!
