Look down at this floor for a second.
Those are four different tile sizes, laid in a repeating pattern, and someone planned where every one of them would go before the first piece was set.
That is what a modular pattern asks of a tile setter: the layout has to center on the room, the sizes have to rotate without ever stacking wrong, and the cuts have to land cleanly where floor meets cabinets on every side.
In a kitchen, the floor also has to earn its keep. Dropped pans, dog bowls, spills, and traffic from the fridge to the stove a hundred times a day. Stone-look tile like this handles all of it and hides the evidence between cleanings.
Tile is when a space comes to life, and the floor is where that starts.
