Nine years ago we made a dramatic life change
We sold our homes in Saugerties and Dumbo and moved our belongings from New York, Singapore and Bali to Portland, Oregon. One big plus from this move is the addition of a member to our family. It’s hard to believe that Mochi is almost nine years old.

The life of a designer is not glamorous.
Have been making site visits to Singapore every few months for the past few years.
Satisfying to see the project nearing completion but frustrating always when you spot quality control issues and mistakes.
This trip was especially challenging during record-breaking haze from neighboring forest fires and navigating Formula One week in Singapore.
One silver lining was taking my sunrise walks in the Botanical Gardens every morning.

Entry gates to the Singapore Botanical Gardens
As you can tell, its one of my favorite places in Singapore
Fond memories from my childhood and the fact that it remains constant in a City that never sleeps

It’s difficult to find fine statuary slabs nowadays
But when you do, it’s well worth the effort
Statuario has a subtle translucency that glows
