I have a feeling the next few weeks are going to go by way too fast. 💔 We have a trip to New York, Yellowstone, back-to-school, and getting Jackson ready to leave on his mission to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania‼️

So my goal this last month of summer: enjoy the adventures, BUT slow down and savor all the little in-between moments, AND make summer last as long as it possibly can. 🌞✨✨

Good news: I’m still smiling 😅
❌ Bad news: 50k training is a lot harder than I expected. 😮‍💨

Good news: I’m spending way more time in the mountains. (my favorite part 💃🏽🌲)
❌ Bad news: Every hill seems to be out to get me.

Good news: I’m getting stronger. 💪🏻
❌ Bad news: My legs are more sore than they’ve ever been… EVERY SINGLE DAY. 😵

Good news: I’m becoming a trail runner.
❌ Bad news: Road runs now feel flat and hard.

BUT honestly… the mountain views, the challenge, and everything I’m learning along the way has made every sore mile worth it!! (would 10/10 do it again)

T-10 weeks till ⛰️🍂
