Ghosting #3: equipment nobody checked until it failed. 👻

Refrigeration never fails at a convenient time. It fails at 3 a.m. with a full walk-in, and it usually starts small: dirty coils, scale in the ice machine, a gasket that’s been going for months.

We evaluate kitchens for operational and energy deficiencies, then spec, supply and install the right replacement.

Plot twist: the algorithm might care more about us doing the work than the finished work. 😂

So here’s a little behind-the-scenes of the team making it happen. If this somehow outperforms our project reveals and before & afters… we’ll have questions. 👀

Fresh udon starts here. 🍜

A look inside Marugame Udon as the kitchen comes together. The noodle machines are set by the window, where guests can watch fresh udon being made. Behind the line, stock pot ranges with a pot filler, fryers and noodle rinse sinks are in place under the hood. Out front, the serving line and sneeze guards are installed and ready for the lunch rush.

A kitchen like this runs on flow. Noodles move from machine to boil to rinse to bowl, then down the line to the guest, and every station has to sit in the right spot for that to work.

Proud to be part of bringing this one to life. More to come. 👀

Not the pretty part yet, but it’s one of the most important.

At Ignition Kitchen, the walk-in cooler is set and the refrigeration systems are staged for install. Cold storage is where a kitchen’s workflow starts: every delivery, every prep list and every service runs through it. That’s why we size it to real volume and place it where the kitchen actually needs it.

Framing is up, the hood is in and the kitchen is starting to look like a kitchen. Follow along. 👀

Happy National Pasta Day. 🍝
A great pasta program takes more than a pot of boiling water.
🍝 Built for the rush: Pasta cookers with auto-lift baskets keep timing consistent when tickets stack up.

🍝 Fresh daily: An extruder and dedicated prep space make fresh pasta a routine, not a scramble.

🍝 Water in, starch out: Pasta cookers need a dedicated water line, a proper drain and a plan for the steam. Miss one and the station fights you every service.
From test fit to install, we spec and supply the equipment your menu actually calls for. Planning a pasta program? Link in bio.

Ghosting #2: the extension cord that’s been “temporary” since opening day. 👻

It happens when equipment gets added after the plan and there’s no outlet where it needs to be. Cords overheat, create trip hazards and raise red flags at inspection.

Our full kitchen plan sets spec every piece of equipment, its power and its location, so electrical is coordinated before the walls close. New build or retrofit.

When the menu changes, we get to work! 🔧

From modifying existing equipment to designing and fabricating custom pieces, we help our clients adapt their kitchens to meet their evolving needs.

Because a great menu deserves a kitchen that works just as hard. 👏

Happy National Dessert Day. 🍰

Pastry programs often get whatever space is left after the hot line is designed. Then someone’s piping buttercream next to a fryer and wondering why it won’t hold.

Dessert deserves its own plan: cool work surfaces, a blast chiller if the program calls for it, and display cases placed where guests can actually see them.

From test fit to install, we design pastry stations around your menu, not the leftover space. Planning a bakery, café or dessert program? Link in bio.
