No one knows a good rose like Gaudreau's! In 1949, Ray Gaudreau bought a flower shop in Saginaw Michigan.

One year later, he changed the name to Gaudreau the Florist. All these years later the business remains in the Gaudreau Family. He instilled a strong work ethic in all of his children and at some point all 8 children have worked at the shop. Sons Gary and Rene' were the first to take over the reigns with daughter Jeanette Ballien as the current owner. Much to her delight, her daughter (Ray's granddaughter) is working along side her. Jeanette has worked in the flower shop since Mother's Day 1972.

We are honored to have our President and General Manager Elizabeth Ballien recognized for her volunteerism and dedication to the floral industry.

GLFA Board Feature: Elizabeth Ballien, CF

Elizabeth serves as Region 5 Director on the GLFA and GLFF Boards.

Outside the floral industry, Elizabeth loves rocks and enjoys collecting them.

She credits her mom as her biggest influence. Having spent much of her own life in and around the floral business, her mom has passed along a wealth of knowledge and experience that has helped shape Elizabeth’s career.

One of Elizabeth’s favorite GLFA memories is a late night at the Expo more than 20 years ago, when a small group of volunteers added up design competition scores by hand. Checking the math while everyone laughed and joked around the table made the work memorable—a behind-the-scenes moment that captured the spirit of volunteerism that continues today.

Join us in saying thank you to Elizabeth for her leadership, service, and continued commitment to GLFA and the floral industry.

Gaudreau's was very happy to contribute our services to prepare over 45+ gift baskets for the Saginaw Police K9 Unit Golf Outing. There isn't much we wouldn't do for our K9 police dogs and their handlers.

It started with a dream, then discussion, searching for the right muralist and teaming up with The Great Mural Project and soon the dream took shape and as the mural was dedicated to our 75 years in business, today we celebrate #76 and everyone that admires it, loves it.
Thanks to Cassi Zimmerman and Jamie Forbes, Zach Curtis ARTwork and all our customers that support our business.
Thank you from the Staff and Family of Gaudreau The Florist Ltd

We had the honor and the privilege to be asked to participate in the memorial celebration for the Saginaw County K9 officers who have past. These dogs donated their entire lives protecting the public and taking down the bad guys. Many thanks to Roselawn Cemetery and Jessica Gruenberg for organizing this event.
