5 days. 5 cities. One unforgettable week in Jordan. 🇯🇴💛
From Mafraq to Southern Ghor, Karak, Amman, Jerash, and Zarqa, we spent the week alongside Salam Charity USA Salam Charity supporting Palestinian, Syrian, Sudanese, and Jordanian families through humanitarian aid, community programs, education, psychosocial support, and moments of joy.
There are numbers throughout this carousel, but behind every number is a person. A family. A conversation. A story. A reminder of why this work matters.
And to everyone who donated to my campaign, attended EL 7HARA events, shared my fundraiser, or supported from afar: you were part of this week too. Your donations directly helped make this work possible. A special thank you to my brother, Ahmed Hashem, for donating 100% of the proceeds from his first El 7hara event to support this deployment.
Serving others is a privilege I never take lightly. I’m leaving Jordan incredibly grateful for the people who welcomed us into their homes and communities, for the volunteers I had the honor of serving alongside, and for every single person who trusted me with their support.
We were also supposed to return to Lebanon this month, but unfortunately weren’t able to make the trip due to safety concerns. InshAllah, I’ll be heading back in February for our Ramadan deployment and another opportunity to serve the communities there.
This is what we can do when we show up for one another.
