My name is Yeshe Jackson, I'm an artist based in Santa Cruz, California. My formal art education was at Humboldt State University, where I received a Bachelor's degree in studio art in 2003. My passion is for creating paintings that are so realistic that they will transport you directly to a specific place, so that you can experience being there every time you look at one. Seascapes are one of my favorite subjects at the moment, although I also love landscapes and wildlife paintings.

I’ve just donated this original forest painting, Through the Trees, to the annual Pork Roast fundraiser on Saturday September 12th at Joe’s Bar in Boulder Creek.

This will be one of many prizes that you can win in the raffle. All proceeds from this event will go to Valley Churches United, a great organization that helps feed local families and helps people in need.
