🐚 Abalone Polished Nuggets β€” Ocean Color with Natural Flash

These polished abalone nuggets are full of the iridescent color that makes abalone one of the most loved shell materials in jewelry and beadwork. Blues, greens, purples, and silvery tones shift in the light, giving every strand movement and depth that can’t be replicated.

Their organic nugget shape creates a more natural, freeform look than perfectly uniform beads, making them ideal for artists and makers who want texture and character in their work.

Abalone pairs beautifully with turquoise, coral, silver, pearls, and other natural materials, whether used in necklaces, earrings, bracelets, or mixed media designs. Makers are drawn to abalone because it brings both bold color and a connection to the ocean into handmade work.

These polished nuggets are perfect for creating jewelry that feels vibrant, earthy, and one-of-a-kind.

A Rare Piece of Zuni Legacy β€” Evans Turquoise Bear by Bernard Homer Jr.

Bernard Homer Jr. was the grandson of Leekya Deyouse, one of the most celebrated Zuni fe**sh carvers and silversmiths of the 20th century. His bundle is equally impressive: turquoise, Mediterranean coral, and a spiny oyster arrow, with coral inlaid eyes.

Zuni fe**shes carved from natural turquoise are exceptionally rare. A significant addition to any serious collection.

This is the kind of piece that stops collectors in their tracks. Bernard Homer Jr. (deceased) was the grandson of Leekya Deyouse β€” one of the most celebrated Zuni fe**sh carvers and silversmiths of all time β€” and that lineage shows in every detail of this extraordinary bear.

Carved from Colorado alabaster and measuring a substantial 6" x 2.75" x 2", this bear commands presence. The parrot feather bundle is the work of Mark Suazo Hinds (also deceased), a well-known Tesuque artist, adding another layer of artistic collaboration and cultural depth. His powerful pack is built from turquoise, lapis, spiny oyster, olivella shell, and abalone β€” and his eyes are inlaid turquoise.

In Zuni tradition, the bear is the guardian of the West β€” a symbol of strength, healing, and inner power. A piece like this, by an artist of Bernard Homer Jr.'s standing, is a rare find for any serious collector.

πŸ’™ Lapis Lazuli Pendant by E. Willie β€” Bold Blue, Beautifully Made

Few stones carry the presence of lapis lazuli. That deep, unmistakable blue has been prized by artists, jewelers, and collectors for thousands of years β€” and in the hands of silversmith E. Willie, it becomes something truly special.

This handmade pendant features a mesmerizing lapis lazuli stone set in sterling silver, finished on black leather cord with delicate sterling silver wire accents. It's a piece that balances strength with elegance β€” the kind you reach for again and again.

Lapis lazuli has long been associated with clarity, courage, and the freedom to move forward. It's said to help clear mental debris, bridge the gap between thought and emotion, and open the wearer to new possibilities and horizons.

Whether you're drawn to it for its striking beauty, its storied history, or its meaning, this is a pendant worth wearing.
