My friend Katrina and I are teaming up to bring you a fun and easy creative challenge!

Every two weeks, we'll each share our own take on the same card sketch to show you just how many different ways one idea can come to life. The sketch does the hard work for you, making it simple to create your own version.

I finally started something I’ve wanted to do for a long time… an herb garden. 🌿

I’ve loved digging in the dirt ever since I was a little girl, and there’s something about getting my hands in the soil that instantly slows me down. No deadlines, no to-do lists—just sunshine, fresh air, and the hope that something beautiful will grow.

I’m finding that as life changes, it’s important to make time for the little things that fill our cups. For me, this little herb garden is becoming one of those places.

What’s something you do to unwind and recharge? I’d love to hear what brings you a little peace and joy these days. 💛 Maybe it’s tending a garden, making cards, reading a good book, or sitting on the porch with a cup of coffee. Sometimes, a quiet morning/afternoon and a little creativity are exactly what the heart needs. 💛

I've been spending some time working on May's Paper Pumpkin kit, and it reminded me why I love these little boxes so much. There's something calming about sitting down with everything ready to go and simply creating.

No pressure to be perfect. No giant mess to clean up. Just a chance to make something beautiful and maybe brighten someone else's day with a handmade card.

At this stage of life, I think we all need more moments that help us slow down, reconnect with ourselves, and reach out to the people we care about.

I'm having so much fun putting these cards together. Have you ever tried a creative hobby that surprised you with how relaxing it was?

When was the last time you started a new hobby, joined a group, or said yes to something that sounded fun?

As we get older, it's easy to spend all our time taking care of responsibilities and very little time doing things that fill us back up.

That's one reason I love paper crafting.

What started as stamps, ink, and paper has introduced me to some wonderful friends and experiences—including weekends like this one spent with members of my team at Stampin' Up!'s OnStage event.

Sometimes creativity doesn’t stay neatly inside the craft room… apparently it travels too. 😂

Hubby and I recently took a quick road trip, and of course I packed a small cardmaking project with me so I could work on thank you cards for an upcoming retreat. There’s just something relaxing about creating while watching the scenery roll by. 💛

Now… did I keep everything perfectly organized? Absolutely not. Apparently dimensional backs still end up all over the floor of the car just like they do in my craft room. Some things never change. 🤣

But honestly, I love that crafting can go wherever life takes you — kitchen table, coffee shop, retreat, or riding down the highway with your favorite person.

Creativity doesn’t have to be perfect to be meaningful. Sometimes it just looks like paper scraps in the cupholder and happy memories being made along the way. 🚗✨

When was the last time you did something just for YOU? 💛

So many women spend their days taking care of family, grandbabies, work, volunteering, and everything else on their to-do list. It's easy to let our own hobbies and interests slip to the bottom.

That's one reason I love paper crafting. It gives me a chance to slow down, be creative, and connect with others.
