Please help us welcome our new Executive Assistant, Stacey to the team!
Get to know Stacey with some Q&A:
What is your favorite part of your job?
My favorite part of working at ID Studios is the people. When I’m asked about the culture, I describe the team as creative, cool, and kind. They seem to have an infinite number of unique design ideas for a huge variety of projects, and they genuinely care about getting it right for each client. I’ve found them to be funny, down-to-earth, and they really listen.
Where did you grow up/ your background?
I was born in central Illinois. I’ve lived in Hawaii and Oregon, but I’ve spent most of my life in California (from Sacramento to San Diego). Most of the work I’ve done has been in the nonprofit field, including the American Institute of Architects.
What are your hobbies, what do you do in your free time outside of work?
I’m a professional photographer and I love being outdoors, going to concerts, traveling, and reading great books. One of my favorite hobbies is managing a National Wildlife Federation habitat for endangered western monarch butterflies at our home, providing food, water, cover, and places to raise their young. I love talking to people about creating their own pollinator gardens, incorporating native milkweed, and flowering plants, for butterfly and bee survival, at both residential and commercial properties. Please plant milkweed!
