Blue and gray, woven loop by loop in my Southport studio. Soft enough for bare feet. Built for what the coast throws at it.

Barefoot before the coffee gets cold. Salt air drifting through the screen door. June in Southport has its own pace, and I've stopped fighting it.

It's the kind of morning where the wood is already warm under your feet and the water's doing that soft, glittery thing on the horizon. The kind that makes you want to sit a while before the day asks anything of you.

This is the world every loop is woven inside of. Tan, driftwood gray, morning gold. Slow porches. Steady hands. Cordage pulled tight one row at a time, right here on the Carolina coast.

When a piece leaves the studio and lands on someone else's front step, I like to think a little of this morning goes with it. The salt. The quiet. The welcome.

No rush today. Just the tide and the to-do list, waiting their turn. 🌊

You picked the perfect doormat in May. By August, it looked like driftwood.

That fade isn't inevitable. It's a material choice.

The rope I weave in my Southport studio is marine-grade and UV-protected, the same cordage built to live on lobster boats through full Carolina summers. Colors stay true. No bleeding onto your porch boards. No washed-out grays where teal used to be.

Barefoot mornings land softer on tan, white, and blue stripes.

There's something about stepping outside with coffee in hand and feeling a doormat that actually welcomes you home. That's the moment I design for.

Each loop is hand-woven in my Southport, North Carolina studio. I choose cordage for the long haul, not the photo op, so the mat you bring home in spring still looks like itself a few seasons in.

I’m proud of all the work we create at Lolli’s Loops but sometimes when the perfect doormat finds the perfect setting and you’re fortunate enough to capture the perfect picture - even I’m awestruck. We custom designed this tan and sand double weave doormat for this understated, cozy entranceway with stone pavers and couldn’t be happier. Our doormat found the perfect home! So humbled.
