Hello Fiber Buddies! I've been playing with my yarn inventory to set up a good online store for you guys. During this process, I'm finding some beautiful yarn I want to share with you. Today, I stumbled across Cascade Meri Seta. It's a 75% superfine Merino and 25% silk. The twist is as beautiful as I've seen in elite hand-dyed yarns. I've already started thinking Christmas, and I think this yarn would make a fine hat and mitt set. Or maybe a scarf. Anyway, I found a hat and mitt pattern I think would look very beautiful in this yarn. What do you think? (The yarn is worsted weight and is priced at $24. Hello Fiber Buddies! Today, I celebrated a major milestone with my Fiber Buddies at The Hook & Needle Nook! 🎉 As we wrapped up our final gathering at our beloved brick-and-mortar shop, I was overwhelmed with gratitude for the incredible community we've built together. Our Thursday group has become a family, and it's clear that our shop has been a catalyst for meaningful connections and lasting friendships. I'm thrilled that we'll continue to meet and grow together, both online and in-person. A huge thank you to Lori Remz for securing our new meetup spot at the Shadle Library through August, and to Kathy Conway for hosting our Tuesday group at her church. Here's to new beginnings and endless possibilities! Long live The Nook!!🌟

Hello Fiber Buddies! What a wonderful Saturday it was. Katrina and Chris put so much love, care, and effort into creating such a beautiful retirement party for me, and I was deeply touched by every detail. One friend after another walked in with smiles, hugs, and heartfelt wishes, and I felt so surrounded by love from the people who mean so much to me. While I may have retired the brick-and-mortar shop, The Hook & Needle Nook will always live on through the wonderful people who have made The Nook such a special fiber arts community.
