Loving the Aspen Pullover by idaho.stitched knit in Malabrigo Vientos’ Piedras.

This was a super quick knit on US 10.5 and US 11 needles. It’s knit from the bottom up, so you get the sleeves done first (no sleeve island!), then the body, then you join all 3 pieces and decrease for the shoulder shaping.

It’s such a quick knit that your sweater will be ready once the cooler weather hits!

This two-ply DK/Sport-weight yarn intertwines multiple shades throughout each strand, creating a rich interplay of color and texture. This is a beautifully structured yarn with depth, movement, and a vibrant visual effect.

We have 8 shades in stock and this yarn takes Malabrigo’s wonderfully rich colors one step further!

I just cast on the Torzal Cowl this morning, and already want one in each color! It’s a free pattern and a great way to experiment with this new yarn. Stop by and check it out!

☀️ Sweater knitting by the pool! 🕶️ And yes, I’m knitting with chunky wool in the middle of summer (Malabrigo Vientos in Piedras).

I’m also working on a gorgeous shawlette/scarf with our exclusive one year anniversary color from Yarnaceous, and will share that with you to kick off our anniversary week!

🎉 Let's Celebrate Christmas in July with a chunky sweater MAL! 🎄
It's the middle of summer, temps are climbing, so of course we're missing the feel of a chunky wool on our needles 😆

Join us Thursday, July 23 from 4pm-6pm to kick of the MAL! We will celebrate our projects/progress right before the start of the school year on Aug 20th.

We will be knitting the Aspen Pullover, by Idaho Stitched which is available on Ravelry. You will need between 500-900 yds of a chunky weight yarn and US 10.5 and US 11 needles. We recommend Malabrigo Vientos or Yarnaceous Fibers Titiano Bulky.

If you purchase the yarn for the project in store, you will receive a complimentary Twisted Stitch Yarn Tote Bag.

If you don't want to knit the Aspen, or if you crochet, feel free to join us with a chunky sweater of your choice!
