HolidayCoro started initially with the production of Coroplast based products in 2008 by our parent company which manufactures many different types of items with computer controlled machinery. As we were heavily involved with the pioneering of RGB and pixels into the Holiday Lighting community in 2010, we then expanded our product lines into RGB and pixel products. Since then, HolidayCoro has gone on to become the most comprehensive and premier suppliers for the DIY Holiday Lighting community. HolidayCoro is located near Houston Texas which provides quick delivery of our products to the entire country. HolidayCoro makes it happen through our great, dedicated employees - Susan who handles order logistics, website updates and paperwork, Betsy which handles product picking and shipping, Brandon and Ronda that handle custom designs and controller assembly, Joshua "Jr" who is our in-house go-fer and David which provides technical support, product design & purchasing and everything else - all of which are located right here in the US. Our mission is to provide the best quality products to our dedicated DIY customers at very reasonable prices, enabling our customers to put on amazing Holiday Animated displays across the country.

100% of HolidayCoro's coro and non-electrical based items are designed in the US, manufactured in the US and produced with US made materials. All controller assemblies/kits are assembled in our Houston, TX shop. Additionally, all our RGB and Pixel products are designed in the US to ensure they meet our strict specifications. HolidayCoro also goes the extra mile and personally visits our foreign contract factories each year to ensure that meet our quality and ethical requirements - we feel it is best to have a complete and personal understanding of our supply chain from end to end to ensure that we know the products we are providing to our customers and the environment they are being produced in.

4 ways to build a pixel matrix
One matrix can show song titles, singing faces, logos, photos and animations. The real difference is how much of it you want to build yourself.

✅ Seed Matrix Panels: pixels come already installed. Plug them into a controller and go.
✅ Pixel Matrix Screen Kit: pixels, controller, power and wiring together in one kit. No soldering.
✅ PixNode Net: flexible. Cut it to any size or shape and roll it up after the season.
✅ PixNode Rigid Matrix Panel: a solid panel with every pixel position already laid out.

Tip: choose your pixel spacing based on how far away people will watch. 2" spacing works from 10 to 100 feet.

Fun fact: we've been making this one for almost 15 years.

The RGB Rectangle Luminary Box is the color-changing version of the lanterns people line their walkways and driveways with. Put a row down your front path and they glow any color you want, in time with the rest of your show.

Built to stand outside all season:

✅ A 2-inch raised base that lifts the glow up above the snow and the grass
✅ Drain holes that keep the inside dry
✅ Notched edges and strain relief to keep your CAT5 up off the wet ground
✅ Fold-over top flaps that push more light out and shed snow
✅ Pre-drilled for the modules and controller — no measuring, no guessing
✅ No painting, and the top lays flat for off-season storage

The coro goes together in about two to four minutes. Available as a kit or
fully assembled.

Before he designed HinksPix controllers, Joe Hinkle flew the A-6 Intruder as a U.S. Marine Corps naval aviator.

After that came an electrical engineering degree from Michigan Tech, an MBA from Eastern Michigan, and a career in automotive design at Chrysler, where he earned several patents.

His specialty is embedded hardware and firmware. That means boards that keep working in a sealed box outside for weeks, in whatever weather December brings.

What Joe brings to HinksPix:
✅ Designs the hardware and writes the firmware
✅ HinksPix PRO V3: 80 ports, up to 81,920 pixels
✅ Created HSA (Hinkle StandAlone) so your show runs straight from an SD card. No sleeping laptop, no update restarting itself mid-show.
✅ That workflow later became the HinksPix Export in xLights
✅ Rewrote the HinksPix upload code in xLights with Scott Hansen (October 2025 release)
✅ Keeps a public firmware changelog anyone can read

And on the side? He’s designed replacement boards for HarvestRight freeze dryers. Different product, same discipline.

HinksPix is a partnership: Joe designs the boards, and HolidayCoro builds, supports, and repairs them in-house in Texas.

Building house icicles? You need at least 8 pixels vertically. Not 7. Here's why: at 7, your text scrolls but it's fuzzy. At 8, everything works perfectly—text reads crisp, effects render smooth.

Also: running 1-inch pixel spacing at full brightness will absolutely dominate your display. Balance it against your other props or dial down the brightness.

Think about what you actually want to do with those pixels before you buy them.

Before the warehouses, before we were making props for customers, before HolidayCoro became what it is today… there was this house.

Christmas lights were our founder David’s hobby going back to 2000. He and his wife looked forward to it every year, and he probably enjoyed planning the display almost as much as running it.

Back then, nobody was drilling coro for props. He needed solutions for his own display, so he drilled the coro himself on a CNC machine he had just built by hand.

The community saw them (shout out to Lone Star Holidays!), and it turned out they wanted these props too.

Nobody was trying to start an industry. It was just about making something that was needed.

That simple idea became the start of the coro prop industry.

Lights, cables, controllers and more followed, because customers wanted one place to get everything they needed.

Over nearly 19 years, there have been wins, losses and lessons that weren’t always easy to learn. But they changed how we do things. Today we know where we shine, and we know our limits. Learning both has made us better at what we do.

Somehow, that shop behind the house turned into an entire warehouse park, complete with forklifts, box machines and a dozen employees. What a path it’s been!

But no matter how much HolidayCoro has changed, this time of year still brings us back to that first photo.

Putting on a Christmas display because you want the kids on your street to have a memory. Because it became a family tradition. Or just because people need something to look forward to.

To everyone still putting on a show this year: we salute you, and we thank you.

The busy season has begun.

Everything we’ve learned over the years is at your fingertips, and HolidayCoro is always a chat, call or email away.

You asked, and we listened. ModuCicle™ now comes in 1" spacing!

New to ModuCicle? It’s a pixel panel that mounts along your roofline in place of traditional icicle lights. The pixels sit in a grid, so your icicles aren’t stuck with one fixed drop pattern. You set the pattern in your sequence and change it whenever you want, and the same panel can also run text, fire and other effects.

The original ModuCicle has 2" pixel spacing. The new version puts the pixels 1" apart, which fits four times as many pixels in about the same space.

At that density your icicles can finally look like the real thing. Each icicle can start 1, 2 or 3 pixels wide and taper to a point as it hangs, with a different width and length for every icicle on your roofline.

And with 20 rows of pixels at 1" spacing, it’s really a high-density pixel matrix that happens to hang on your roofline. Icicles one song, then scrolling text, fire, VU meters or any other matrix effect the next.

✅ 1" pixel spacing
✅ 15 or 20 pixels high × 94 pixels wide
✅ 94" × 22.6" panel
✅ Icicles in any shape, width and length you want
✅ Big, bold scrolling text for Tune To signs, song titles and show messages
✅ Fire, VU meters and other effects for Halloween and every other season
✅ Now available in black as well as white, in both the 1" and 2" versions

Same idea, now with the detail to do a lot more with it.

IT'S FINALLY HERE!

Meet ModuCicle™, a brand new way to do icicles on your house.

It’s a pixel panel that runs along your roofline, so your icicles aren’t stuck with one fixed drop pattern. You set the pattern in your sequence and change it whenever you want.

✅ Any drop pattern, different from song to song
✅ Scrolling text for your Tune To sign, song titles, lyrics and show instructions
✅ Fire and other effects for Halloween and other seasons
✅ Works as your house outline too
✅ 7 or 9 pixels tall, 2" pixel spacing
✅ Fits flat rooflines and gables up to 12/12 (45°)
✅ Simple zigzag build, so you make only the length you need
✅ Mounts on PVC pipe with HolidayCoro PVC pipe clips
✅ Light and flexible, rolls up for storage
✅ Typically lower cost than dedicated icicle lights

One roofline, a lot more you can do with it.

Fun fact: plenty of people run theme nights on their display.

Star Wars night. Country night. Metal night. Christian music night. A different
playlist depending on the evening.

Bonus fun fact: you can split it by the hour, too. Something kid-oriented
from dark until 9, then after 9 you're seeing fewer kids — so that's when the ZZ Top or the AC/DC comes out.

How it's set up: All players, including the HinksPix PRO and xSchedule all have playlist
and per-playlist scheduling functionality.
