We had no way of knowing the plans He had for us when we built this kitchen. Yes, I had my plans; but His purpose was greater.

This is part of the Goodwill Easter Seals Miami Valley Adults with Disabilities culinary training team. Their participants learn kitchen skills to help them obtain employment while also catering lunches for the Senior Day program. Such a full curcle application of these cool programs and such an experience to be a small part of this story. 🙏 🐝 👩‍🍳

Like most small businesses, there’s always something (or 16 somethings) to do! That’s why entrepreneurs are the most inspiring people I know. 🤩. So passionate about what they do, undaunted by how all consuming it can be and always looking for ways to do it differently or better! You can feel it in the air, every time you step into Busy Bee Shared Use Commercial Kitchen and one of our member businesses are there working! 🌿 💜 👩‍🍳 🐝

There’s always something to do for my apothecary. Dried lavender flowers are being prepped for my soap I’ll be making later today. I also have two of my oil infusion machines going .. one infusing chamomile and the other lavender. I incorporate these oils into salves, soaps and other products I make and can also be used topically.

Our brochures are finally ready! 🤍

Now we’re looking for a few helping hands in our community to help us get them into the hands of the families who may need our services most.

We’re currently looking to connect with local professionals and businesses who would be willing to display our brochures in their reception or waiting areas:

• Midwives, doulas & lactation professionals
• Therapists & women’s mental health providers
• Functional & holistic health practitioners
• Massage & bodywork professionals
• Health & wellness shops

Our postpartum meal delivery service was created to help take one thing off a new mother’s plate—by putting nourishing, homemade meals on it. 🤍
