This was a neat activity. I made a coat rack to put in my foyer from an antique oak headboard and a hat rack for my garage from the foot board. I love how they turned out. They are very practical, stylish, and useful. The painting above the hat rack is a watercolor painting of the beautiful town of Staunton Virginia I purchased at an auction:)

Remember these? I bought 4 dilapidated vintage Cracker Barrel oak rocking chairs in January at an auction for $2. That is .50 a piece!!!! My husband thought I was not thinking straight when I bought them. AND let me tell you they just about kicked my butt!!! BUT perseverance will prevail!!! 8 months later Steve and I will be drinking sweet tea rocking on our front porch with these two:)

The back is the "Pam Carter weave".
The seat is made from a 3" cushion and water proof material.

I'm loving this desk! I purchased this table at an estate sale for $25. Boy did it need a new face-lift. Steve wanted me to keep the banged up look on the top. It turned out beautiful.

Look what I found today! I could not pass these Mid Century Modern night stands up! I absolutely love these. They do need to be refinished. If you would like to own these for your home let me know how you want them refurbished. Both will be a steal for $150!!!
