About the candle— this is a 5oz organic container candle in a gypsum stone container, a blend of soy wax from midwest farmers and beeswax from Northern Michigan bees. Clean burning, no toxins, no VOCs, no phthalates, no lead, no nothing. Just wick, wax, & clean fragrance in a custom made container.

Thank you for all the support this summer! We’re out of stock of a lot of things and it’s revealing just how hard it is to keep track of our changing stock and to communicate online what’s available and what’s sold out. But while we figure that out, I really appreciate the people who are brave enough to just ask “Hey, do you have this?” That’s the way. But it’s fall and it’s candle season so we’ll be back to pouring in the coming weeks.

I finally got it right. This is a new square pillar candle design, and yes, it’s 100% single filtered Michigan beeswax. The geometry couldn’t be simpler, so I wanted to make sure that the texture had a life to it— so I made the master shape out of blocks of white oak so that it’d have grain and dimensionality.

These will be available soon (and already are if you know where to look)

Making candles is getting more and more fun. The mushroom “clusters” candles are made from 4 different molds and crafted / grafted by hand into one triple wick candle. Beeswax is just a wonderful medium to work with, and getting it straight from the farm only makes it that much more rewarding.
