Stopping by after countertop installation to check on tile progress....so close! We used the same pattern in the shower and on the floor, but in different finishes to create a seamless look and show off this amazing pattern!

Check in from the team: heated floors and large format tile! Looking good on the floor while we get ready to tackle the shower with KSI Kitchen & Bath

The KSI Kitchen & Bath crew finished taking out the striped wall paper this week in preparation for new large format tile.

" Worth every penny" said the customer as she watched the team stream off the paper with care.

We can't wait for your new tile and freestanding soaker tub to go in.

Thank you for trusting us to make this space a private retreat for you!

There's the medal and then there is the work. Today it was worth all the early mornings.

We COULD do a basement w**e bar when you remodel.....or we could add a grandma candy bar. This seemed like the better choice.

Every creative needs an outlet, especially if their creative day job requires them to engineer, number crunch, project manage and play marriage counselor ( senior kitchen designer). My creative outlet is painting landscapes, from forest to Lakeshore, I love to explore color, texture and the challenge of capturing an experience in 2D. This year my 24" x 48" acrylic painting, " spring morning koi" will be on display for ArtPrize 2026 hosted by Kendall College of Art and Design of Ferris State University as part of an exhibition featuring " landscapes" of many kinds. I'm honored and excited to be amongst other talented artists.

The work will be available to a new home after the exhibition, but if you'd like to support the arts in a smaller way you can purchase one of my stickers for $2.50.

In past years I've printed artist's cards or business cards featuring the work, but the texture and shape make it difficult to capture the true colors and subtle nature of work, so I've opted to produce some fun 3" vinyl stickers that capture the playful nature of the koi.

I'm happy to announce that I am now " living in place" certified. These design principles enhance life at every age! It's important for me to showcase to clients and other designers that this is an area of focus for me, especially with so many people wanting to live more fully in their current homes.
