The Memorial for Loyalty to the Fatherland, established on April 5, 1920, is a prestigious state decoration conferred upon members of the Serbian army who retreated through Albania during the winter of 1915/1916. Instituted by Crown Prince-Regent Aleksandar I Karađorđević, the medal features a left profile of the commander-in-chief on the obverse, surrounded by a circular inscription and a laurel wreath, with a silver double-headed eagle and crown. Božidar Delić was a Serbian general and politician who served as the vice president of the National Assembly of Serbia from 2007 to 2012 and again from 2 to 23 August 2022.

Initially a member of the Serbian Radical Party (SRS), Delić joined the Serbian Progressive Party (SNS) in 2008 and later returned to SRS in 2011. In 2020, Delić left SRS again and founded Love, Faith, Hope (LJVN) political organization along with Nemanja Šarović. He left LJVN in early 2022 and, shortly after, he was announced as the National Democratic Alternative coalition's ballot carrier for the 2022 Serbian parliamentary election.

War / Army path

As a major, Delić participated in the Siege of Dubrovnik and remained there from 1991 to 1992.There he was promoted to the rank of lieutenant colonel. Then, with the consent of the superior command, he volunteered to go fight in Nevesinje, in the Bosnian War and was named Chief of Staff of the Bileća Brigade of the Army of Republika Srpska.

In 1995, he was reassigned to the position of commander of the 549th Motorized Brigade of the Yugoslav Army. He was a commander of this brigade during the Kosovo War and the NATO bombing of Yugoslavia in 1999. His brigade also included a group of Russian volunteers, the most famous of whom were Anatoly Lebedand Albert Andiev. After the signing of the Kumanovo Agreement, the Yugoslav Army had to withdraw from AP Kosovo and Metohija. He spent some time with the brigade in Leskovac, where the demobilization of volunteers, reservists and ranks whose military service ended, was organized. He was later promoted to the rank of one-star general.

This exceptional JNA YPA Yugoslav Peoples Army Horse Gas Mask Set, originating from Yugoslavia, is a rare and highly sought after piece of militaria among collectors. The comprehensive set includes a gas mask designed for equine use, reflecting its military theme, accompanied by 2 standard sealed filters and 2 additional filters that have been previously opened. Historically, horses played a vital role in military operations, prompting many countries, including Yugoslavia, to develop specialized gas masks for their horse units. The JNA employed a 60mm horse gas mask, featuring 2 intake valves and 1 exhale valve, constructed from materials similar to those used in the M-1 (M-59) model. The mask also boasts a gas hood made from the same material as the poncho found in M-1/M-1C/MC-1 kits. The mask was stored in a sturdy carrier with strings around the opening and buttons similar to those on the M-1 carrier.
